Celebrate the holidays with this charming set of two vintage 1985 Christmas commemorative coffee mugs. Produced for the historic Gayfers department store by Royal Ann Fine China, these mugs feature a classic festive design. One side showcases a beautiful robin perched on holly branches, artistically rendered by Hague, while the reverse depicts a traditional decorated Christmas tree. The handles are accented with gold-toned gilding, adding a touch of elegance to your holiday table or display.
Perfect for collectors of department store memorabilia, vintage Christmas decor enthusiasts, or anyone who appreciates quality 1980s kitchenware. These fine china pieces are a nostalgic reminder of holiday seasons past. Use them for your favorite cozy morning beverage or add them to a decorative shelving unit for seasonal flair. Their durable fine china construction ensures they remain a staple in your collection for years to come.
Item condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing. The primary sign of age is significant wear and tarnishing to the gold-toned gilding on the handles. The white ceramic bodies remain bright with only minor scuffing consistent with careful use and storage.
