This is an exceptionally rare Braille edition of the classic Campbell Cookbook titled Easy Ways to Delicious Meals. Published circa 1968 by the Campbell Soup Company and embossed by the Volunteers Service for the Blind, this piece is a fascinating example of mid-century accessibility and corporate history. The front cover features the iconic Campbell Kid chef.
This English Braille American Edition contains numerous recipes adapted for tactile reading. It is a must-have for collectors of Campbelliana, vintage kitchenware, or historians of disability services. The heavy cardstock pages remain in excellent condition with crisp Braille embossing throughout. While the standard print version of this cookbook is well-known, this Braille version was produced in limited quantities and has a low survival rate, making it a unique addition to any collection. A beautiful artifact from a time of progressive outreach that still functions as a collector showpiece today.
Item condition: Good vintage condition. The cover shows age-appropriate wear including some creasing, minor edge tears, and light spotting on the title insert. The interior pages are well-preserved with sharp and tactile Braille characters. Natural age-toning is present on the paper.
