This is an original 1960 edition of The Jet, the official yearbook for North Marshall High School in Hardin, Kentucky. This mid-century treasure features a striking gold-toned embossed cover with a stylized jet aircraft design reflecting the eras fascination with the Space Age. Inside you will find over 100 pages of high-quality black and white photography documenting student life including faculty, seniors, juniors, music ensembles, and classroom scenes.
Notable sections include the Sweetheart and Beau awards and the Pep Band. The book contains authentic handwritten signatures and personal notes from the 1960 graduating class, adding a unique layer of historical provenance. It is a fantastic resource for genealogists, local historians, or alumni. The binding is firm, and while there is minor edge wear to the cover and slight page yellowing consistent with its age, it has been well-preserved for over six decades.
